New Shower Gaseous Smell

Wondering if anyone would know what's wrong or give some suggestions?

Had a new shower installed recently, whole thing. As this is in a granny flat, the mains is connected to main house and has own pipe work going into main shore in back garden. After about two weeks, started to get this gaseous smell and realised when opened shower doors, it was coming from shower drain. Little flies also dead in it. No smell from toilet or sink unit. Bleached it out, washed it all out and dumped scalding water down drain from shower (Yes it's scalding). Smell went away but was back within a few days with flies (Shower is only used at most twice per week). Did the same and smell went again, no more flies after this. Started to do this every three- four days (leaving bleach in drain etc) and had no issues since. That was until yesterday. The smell is back, bleached it, water etc but the smell was still there overnight. Cleaned it again throughout the night with boiling water from kettle. Left nice-smelling floor cleaner in water thingy (little bucket that sits inside drain), but it's still there this morning.

Anyone idea of what the issue might be?
