Any ideas on marrying a 2 story extension between 2 existing sections in an older house without affecting the 3 roofs? Is it even possible?

There are 2 sections standing out at either end at the back of an old farm house. In one section is a toilet and back hall, in the other is a study and bedroom overhead. There is a space between both sections and I want to extend the kitchen to run level with these 2 sections. Is this possible without affecting the roof?
