Page 49 has an article on a new forestry scheme, just wondering if anyone else has read it and can translate it into practical info.

"New scheme provides farmers with up to 17,400 per hectare in grants, business contributions and tax free premium payments when establishing native woodlands"

Forestry companies normally work for the grants and the landowners normally receive the premium payment paid annually for 15 years. Combined they make up €17,400/ha.

With the WEF forestry scheme, businesses contribute extra payment / hectare on top of the DAFM payment, as part of there corporate responsibility
