We paid our bins last year (on the 1st of Nov) for the year, a flat rate. I know that this is now gone but we got a text a few weeks ago saying that we were after going over our limit. This was all news to us and we just got a bill saying we owe about €130 extra for the year on top of the €310 we paid for the year. I have no problem paying by weight but I'm feeling a bit annoyed that we weren't informed of when this came in.
Has anyone else been landed with an extra charge like this and did you get anywhere? Going to ring Country Clean on Monday
