Not sure if this is Right place for this but hopefully someone can advise

I am currently upgrading a Bedroom and will be installing a TV etc

What cables would people advise running to TV Position Of course Power is a given but Do I need Cat 6 etc

I have a Sat Dish with an octo Lnb Installed and the Cables are Brought into Attic

Some of these are used for TV but lots of Spares

So what is the best to run to new

    TV Position to future proof

    Thanks XL500

    Thanks

Depends on the functions you want at the TV point.
If you want to be able to record one satellite channel while viewing a different one then you need two coax cables from the LNB. Else one satellite coax will do.
The aerial cable (for Saorview) might also be required if it is not joined into one of the satellite coax cables. If joined then it will need to be split again at the TV.

Definitely bring a Cat5e or preferably a Cat 6 cable from your LAN distribution point also.
