Uk Car Supermarket... How did ye pay?

    Heading over to the UK next week to buy a car from a car supermarket but only having one little snag so far. The car (depending on Brexit shenanigans) is today working out around €7500 but AIB where I have my debit card say that their daily transaction limit is €7100 leaving me a bit short.

    The dealership doesn't take cash and bank drafts and internet transfers take days to clear. I want to be able to arrive in the morning, get the transaction done by about 10am and be out of there in my car that afternoon.

    My question for anyone who has successfully done it is what did you do?

    If you're certain of where you will be buying why not transfer €1000 online and pay the balance next week.
