    Hi,

looking for some opinions regarding which laptop to go for. It will be used for calculation heavy applications (Excel). I have narrowed down to a choice between an Inspiron or a HP Pavilion - both with 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8550U Processor .

Prices are roughly similar. Is there anything I should look out for or is it a cointoss?
    thx
    M

I don't think Excel would task any CPU really so it's down to what else you would be using it for. What are the other specs (SSD, screen quality, RAM)
