Replacing This timer

Would it be possible and reasonably straight forward to replace this timer so that the power going to the 3 zones, upstairs, downstairs and hot water, can be controlled by 3 smart sockets pictured underneath? The smart socks are like an adapter and plug into any standard socket. I would need a triple wall socket.

All I want is simple on/off operation. The smart socket can handle 10 amps so that should not be an issue. I have asked a few electricians but should I be talking to a plumber?

    Wouldn't be too difficult.
If I were you, I would get one of those smart sockets and put it on a standard light of something similar and play around with it for a while. Some of those have a lot of down time.

I have been using the Sonoff S206 for ages now and they really are brilliant. My idea is to have a fairly inexpensive alternative to Nest or Hive.

I use one of their sockets and also a smart switch. They seem to have gotten better recently, but historically were down a lot more than my Belkin Insight
