There’s a movie I saw as a kid that is killing me because I can’t remember the name of it. It was a fantasy/dungeons and dragons type movie, with, I’m sure it was Kirk Douglas in it.

Not much to go on and can’t find it in his filmography

"Ulysses" maybe a contender from 1954 with Douglas in the title role. Although it definitely shows up in any list of his movies it would be easy to overlook as a fantasy given that it's based on Homer's poem.

Could also be "The Vikings" from 1958.
