Your best option would be to use a docking station. These can be vendor specific or universal. You will need to check how many display outputs each model has and what type of output you require i.e HDMI, DVI, VGA or display port.

cheaper option is a usb display adaptor. check amazon etc.

Any h/w solution will just split the signal and send identical screens to multiple displays.

The OP wants different images to be sent to different screens, something that can only be done by the Windows video driver and it will require that the video chip in his laptop supports such a feature.

I've only seen this once and I've been using laptops since the very first IBM Thinkpad (700c). I had a laptop once where I could run a Powerpoint screenshow on the external monitor or projector and on the laptop screen I was able to read the pressie notes.

coylemj that's not true. The usb adaptors allow a screen to be used a second screen which will display different content as you wish.
Unless you are trying to render complex graphics etc it works just fine.
The limitation is the load on the cpu i believe...but hey i'm no expert.
But i do run dual monitors on a few workstations some through graphics cards and some via an external usb to vga adaptor with no issues with office type functionality.
