Launches 29th Nov but not on Freesat or Sky

Which means 142 will stil be the SD version and BBC Two England HD will stay on 347 on Sky

Disappointing as BBC Two Wales HD is launching on all platforms on the same day

Since the rugby is gone from both channels there is nothing of value on them.

For rugby fans like me I tend to agree.
However Premier Sport 2 and Freesports are not HD so still Pro 14 in SD for some games as before with BBC regions.

I thought premier 2 was in hd now. Afterall isn't it the same channel as eir sports 1 on satellite. Sometimes the feed carries the eir dog, other times it carries the premier dog.

I have eir 1 and 2 in hd on satellite.

It’s not (and Premier 2 isn’t in HD)

Premier Sports 1 = eir Sport 2 (more or less)

Same is not true of Premier Sports 2 and eir Sport 1, though there is some overlap.

But this thread is about BBC Two

I do have Eir sports 1 HD here in NI on Sky EPG and can manually add Eir sports 2 HD but as pointed out already the latter is virtually a simulcast of Premier Sports 1 HD.
Back to BBC Two NI going HD and I honestly can't think of any programmes on this channel that I would want to watch that are not already on national BBC2HD (115 on Sky EPG in NI and 102 on Freeview HD EPG in NI). So no great benefit to me i'm afraid.

All the regional variations will be in HD on Freesat and in numerical order
