    It says in description that it's a power assist system so shouldnt be An MPV so should be able to ride it like a bicycle on Irish roads.

    If it propels itself with a motor or engine then you will need to register it, display registration plates, hold a licence, get tax, insurance and wear a helmet. However if it just assists with power when the pedals are being rotated then it's a bicycle.

    It could be 23% on import duty but I'm open to correction.

    Not unless the assistance cuts out at 25km/h.

    Fingal County Council are certainly not competent to be making decisions about the most important piece of infrastructure on the island. They need to stick to badly designed cycle lanes and deciding on whether Mrs Murphy can have her kitchen extension.

    Its a triple mode bike:
    Assist
    Pedal only
    Motor only

    Last one means its not road legal.
