If you are replacing drums (is that what you mean by hubs) they come with the bearing pre installed already

Very hard post to respond to with little info. Then the terminology isn’t great either. U should be more discriptive.

Yep must be drums and shoes then the old fashioned braking system, nice to know they come with the bearing pre installed to save a bob.Reason why i ask about the bearings is that i phoned up pitstop and some bird answered the phone and i just mentioned that i was looking to replace the rear hubs and shoes so what would that cost, she went off to find out and i could hear her ask some bloke and he asked her did i want the bearings replaced as well ....

Wouldn’t be going near advance pit stop but ur choice. Did him asking did u want the bearings done not throw off alarm bells considering they come already installed.

    Questions

Ah my bad, shame on me i should have asked about replacing DRUMS instead of Hubs,i.m not mechanically minded when it comes to cars and engines so cant always be precise about what i,m asking about but i try.I post on here to look for answers to problems and appreciate the info that i receive.
If you would have checked posts before you posted you will see that colm-mcm asked what make and model was it and i posted its a 99 opel astra with 90,000 miles,i must apologies for my so called terminology and will try to be more dEscriptive in the future .......

You are correct, apologies op it wasn't the Astra g I was thinking of but you have no need to replace the bearings in your setup unless one is bad
