141+ Ford Focus or should I be looking at something else

    Looking to buy from a dealer with a budget of 13/14k.

    I'm currently in an old 03 1.4l petrol Focus (had since feb, new driver) and looking at moving to a 1.6 Diesel. I'd be doing about 12k Miles a year. (20 miles to work, 40 each way, most of that on dual carriageway).

    I'd look at petrol based on the mileage I'd be doing but barely any secondhand petrols floating about.

    Is there any other cars I should be considering here as well?

    I was looking @ mondeos / older A4s but I probably don't need need that much car coupled with insurance on 2L creeping up since I don't have a decent NCB built up yet.
