Extend wifi

Hello all,


I have the black sky Q hub in the house. I want better wifi down in the garden shed. I have a sumvision powerline that I can use. How do I go about setting it up. I tried connecting an internet radio but it could not connect. It found the sky ssid ok but would not connect.


The moden in the shed is the old white model.

Yeah I hit the sync button on the powerline adapter and the middle light came on. I have unplugged it for now as it caused issues with my sky q modem. My sky q modem showed up as disconnected:eek:

Ok I want to have another stab at this. I connected a laptop and ran a speed test in the shed through the sumvision powerline adapter. I got a good speed of 42 Mbps download.



I would like to make this wireless. What is the name of gizmo that plugs into the wall socket and transmits the signal wirelessly? its not a wifi repeater or extender etc etc.


I do have an old sky modem that could be used but it just seems too complicated.

I assume I just connect this to my sumvision powerline adapter with a Ethernet cable?

If its for a single space, assuming your shed isn't 5000sqft, then they're probably identical. Either should be fine.
