Thought I would start a thread for all things Rock music. Due to the softening (change of direction) of a certain Dublin station it might be a good idea to have somewhere to share links to stations you have found and enjoy either online, apps, on media platforms like Sky or even shows you've discovered on Fm.
Doesn't matter what genre of Rock, share away, might not be eveyones cup of tea but still good to see the alternatives available to our main stream sh1te.

I'll start it off with the good auld Planetrock on Sky 0110, professional and consistent. I believe there's an app too, but might be geo locked.
Stuck at home today so its refreshing to listen to it compared to what I'm used to a work.

    https://www.radiobob.de/home

Scroll down and there should be links to 12 channels, Radio Bob live, ACDC, Best of Rock, Classic Rock, German, Wacken Festival, Alternative, Hard, 80s, 90s, Hits and Metal.
Definitely get your fix there, it's the perfect rescue from Irish radio, which can only be described as gently being flogged to death with scented bootlaces.

Cha cha. "perfect rescue from Irish radio" well said.

Most Irish radio stream rubbish, but there are some high quality radio stations. I don't want to mention names here.

By the way, no everybody speaks German and feel comfortable listening Deutsch radio. I prefer UK radio instead.

    BBC6 music esp. from 19:00-00:00.

The rest is grand, but maybe more, I dunno, safe?

The accuradio app has every genre and sub-genre you can think of.
It's free and you can skip through songs you don't like or add them to an 'ignore' list.
