Red light for storage heater

    Hi guys! Need a help please... a have a storage without any settings, I can not set a better time to release heat and nothing. My caretaker said it is taking energy during the night(off peak) and then release it during the day. The problem is the red light beside of the storage is on during the morning and also for sometime during the early evening. Is it normal?? If someone could explain to me how it works would be amazing!! Tks.
