Have a wire for a light about 5.5m high up on the outside of my two storey new build...would this be too high for a sensor light? Electrician reckons it is but he said I've the final call...title should say SENSOR...

You can get units where the sensor is separate from the light itself. So you could locate the sensor lower down.
