fitted a new speedo cable to my ducato recently ,it was straightforward to do, just noticed the needle is not at zero it sits at 2 miles.
Just Wondering Can i rectify this at the gearbox end or at the dashboard end?

    I would suspect the dash.
    Have you tried hitting it?

I would suspect that you find it near impossible to find any speedo
that points exactly to where its supposed to, especially at rest.

If it on original wheels and tyres they usually overread by 10%. Cvrt test is basically limited to does it move up and down, does i't light up. Its not an issue. If you really wanted you could take off the needle and refit it at 0 but i would buy the proper tool on ebay if doing that.
