    Hi all,

I'd appreciate some advice. I'm clueless when it comes to building! We're renovating an old house and putting on an extension. The engineer and builder and suggesting a technique which a family member has raised concerns about, suggesting there could be insulation/mositure issues in the future.

The plans say" 9 inch cavity with 90mm XtraTherm Thin-R/TLMF, bonded to 12.5 plasterboard mechanically fixed to inner face and 6mm skim finish".

Are we walking into a nightmare in a few years with this?

Thanks in advance for all advice.
