Unable to access for last couple of days, is this due to the issue with the servers?

Don't expect it to be looked at today, try again Monday afternoon. Their poor IT dept. can't be expected to investigate issues over a weekend. They'll press the on/off button late Monday morning and it will be magically restored.

And there you go, exactly as predicted - the Eir web sites return on Monday morning. This is a 9 to 5 company.

    Hi everyone,

We are aware of an issue with our website which is causing issues accessing webmail. We are currently looking into this and will have this resolved as soon as possible.
For the time being, can you try accessing it via mail2web.com?

    Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

    Thanks

    Tracey

That's a really bad advice. I would not ask customers to enter their email address and password into a third party non-secure website.
