    Hi eastyy,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In some cases, there may be a balance owing from prior to the meter installation. For example, if a customer signed up on March 20th and their meter was installed on April 1st, what was used during this period would be applied to the meter to be deducted at 25% of every top-up until cleared.

We have limited access to the Pay As You Go system in this department. As such, we are unable to check what the situation is with your account here.

We recommend speaking to a member of the dedicated Pay As You Go team on 1850 372 372 or 01 8529534. They will be able to check why there is a balance.

If you have any general queries, we would be happy to help.

    Thanks,
    Aoife
