Amazon order not yet dispatched but money taken

    Hi there I ordered a fire tv stick basic edition from amazon UK.the money was taken from my account and initially the status of the order was dispatching now however it now says not yet dispatched.it is due to be delivered two days from now.can somebody with knowledge of a similar experience please tell me what is going on?Thank you

    Have you considered asking amazon?

    They have live chat if you want to try that.

    I ordered several items once - books and a multicooker. Money for all were taken from my account. Books arrived 2 days later. Multicooker was hanging there for a day or two but later also was marked as dispatched however a week later got an email to say my item failed to be delivered most likely for one of the following reasons (about 4 reasons listed) and they would issue a refund. Got a refund soon afterwards. I am pretty sure nothing failed to be delivered but simply failed to be dispatched to begin with as no tracking was provided. I must admit, I never queried it with Amazon, as I was happy to get a refund since the same item became cheaper in my local Argos:)
