Can I use a car cigarette lighter USB adapter to charge and iPhone?

If so, is there any power output I should use/avoid?

    Thanks.

    D.

There fine to use for charging your phone.

The amp output doesn’t matter too much. The phone won’t take more than it can handle (2.1 amps I think for anything over an iPhone 6, but I’m open to correction on the newer models).

A 2 amp charger will charge your phone faster than a 1 amp one, though. So if you think you’ll need to charge more in shorter time, go for one with a more power. If you ever need to charge an iPad or tablet, you’ll need higher power again. The chargers in my cars are all dual 2.4 amp jobs: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00M6Q83B4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_RKLWBb8Q3GMQQ

they’re low profile so I like them, but you can get others cheaper that are usually a bit more bulky.
