'Game Sync was cancelled' Pokemon Global Link on DS

    Hi

    Both of my boys want to use PGL, so I signed them up last week. One is playing Sun the other Moon, not Ultra.Neither have been able to use it and both keep getting the following error message on the 3DS:

    An error has occured.

    Game Sync was canceled because more time must pass before you can use Game Sync again. Please wait a bit before trying Game Sync again.
    (Error Code: 090-0207)



    So they hadn't tried again in a week, and last night got the same message.

    There is not much advice for this online, I've searched the error code. I've tried resetting the profile to 'everybody' as on one forum, but no joy.

    Other reports said emailing support didn't help.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?
