Turning up late for online appointment at NDLS Centre

    Hi,

I booked an appointment online to renew my driving licence at an NDLS centre this afternoon having arranged my lunch break around the appointment.

However, I have now been told that I have to go to a meeting in work that is at the same time as the appointment. Anyone know from past experience that if I turn up 30ish minutes late for the appointment will I still get to be seen?

    Thanks.

I'd ring them and explain. They might be able to facilitate you

Thanks, unfortunately they are not that flexible.

Just in case somebody is in a similar situation and comes across this thread I might as well update how I got on.

The meeting at work ended up finishing a bit earlier than expected and I got to the NDLS centre a couple of minutes after my scheduled appointment time only to be told that once they call out your name and you're not there you automatically lose your slot and have to join the back of the queue of the walk-in's

I didn't have 3 hours to wait around so if you are going to be late for an online appointment you might as well not bother unless you have a lot of time to hang around...

If they are opened on Saturdays, get there first thing. No queue.
