My ftth which has been rock solid from day one has suddenly gone on the blink today around 2pm, the green light on the ONT for PON is flashing green and should be solid.

I dont want to ring as it may make things worse, if its gone all over I can wait.

No officially announced faults in that area. You might want to get on to them.
