I have recently received a "new" s9 from three when entering a contract but the phone has a seal saying do not accept if seal is broken, and the seal was not broken but underneath the seal when peeled off was a broken seal. Why would this be the case? Is there anyway of finding out if it was previously defective or used??

Was it a simple case of installing a sim?
