I am a paye worker and i get paid some private consultancy income.
Can someone tell me what form i need to fill out for this?
Is it worth getting an accountant for this or straight forward enough?

MIght be better asking in Taxation.

    How much is the income?

It's generally easy enough to do yourself online. If it's under (i think) €5k, you complete a form 12 online. Above this, and you are obliged to register as self assessed for tax, and you complete a Form 11 instead
