    Hi All

    Looking for advice.

I have an Archer Cr hooked to my UPC router ( in bridge Mode)

I have a synology NAS plugged into the C9 by Ethernet

When I try to access the NAS form my Radio or TV, it takes 2-3 gos to actually open a file

I previous had an Apple Extreme, I never had any problems getting to the NAS

Is there anything I can do ?

Is it the Router ? or the NAS?

    Any advice appreciated

    DT

Sounds like the NAS sleeping. The router won't be doing anything to internal traffic (it just passes it along).

Hi could I ask your advice? I just got a C9 to try to connect older cisco router EPC3925 in bridging mode and improve wifi around the house.
Bit of an anticlimax as the (ebay 2nd hand) C9 arrived with wifi passwords not working/ connecting - even thoug I used ethernet cable to access admin and change the SSID passwords.. Ill reset to factory, "forget network"and hope I can get in from there..
Have you been able to improve wifi speed (I get 240MB on ethernet cable from the EPC3925 but only 40MB from its wifi)..?
Any other advice? In theory as long as I dont fall foul of "DSLite" status which I've seeen in varioud blog posts about UPC/VM, this should work well but Im not so confident to "troubleshoot" as nota big networking boffin..
    Any help welcomed!

    1. Read this: https://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057367191
    2. Start your own thread

(I've a 3925 bridged to this day, it works well - better than Hub/Horizon)
