    imo, you can't go wrong with a good padded, leather bike jacket. I've had mine since I was 17 and some 15 years later it's still going great. I just wax it once a year.

    I picked up a pair of Richa pants last year, I'll see if I can find the type on the tag. I've worn them year round in every bit of ****e weather and gotten to work bone dry. They cost about €90

    I picked up the Richa Rain Warrior jacket and trousers about two years ago and they're fantastic. Pretty easy on and off, fit over your normal bike wear, and have kept me bone dry in woeful weather.

    I got these bottoms. Very good for the money. Lined too.

    Recently picked up an Oxford Rainseal jacket but thankfully haven't had to use it yet.

    For apocalyptic rain I got a one-piece;

    Packs down quite small into a built-in pouch.

    I have the same. Often leaks around the belly and crotch area.

    Anything but RST really.

    But the really best thing to do is a proper over suit, go into a camping store and buy light jacket and separate pants and throw them on over your normal riding gear on very wet rides.. Cheapest and best in my experience.

    RST, I bought after a recommendation here. They worked for a few rain showers and just fell to bits.

    My son bought RST (against my advice), got last winter out of it and now has to replace it because his RST's have turned into a sponge.
