Just wondering if anyone has seen a live demo of Chris?
Seen it described as an “Alexia for the car”
Has anyone bought one or used one?
    https://chris.com/features/

Seems a bit pricey. any opinions?

    Everybody Hates Chris

    Should have called it Raymond.

Chris simply listens and talks to you like a co-driver.

Why do I picture Chris talking sh*te thinking they're a rally driver and sending you off the beaten tank tracks of the Curragh for fun :P

Joking aside, plenty of features I can see being useful to others that have older machines that want to feel a bit more modern with this, but it's not for me

Chris sounds very annoying, repetitive and unbelievable. (Just like Alexa!)
I (thankfully) don't associate with either but I've seen similar tech on other cars and if you ask it to bring you somewhere like a pharmacy it has a spaz attack. Actually it seems to be in a permanent spaz attack.

Can't we just go back to driving our cars instead of trying to "solve" the pickle of in car communication. Hint: Like voice commands for the sat nav, it's not needed!!

    Chris, where are you?...
I'm in your parking space, Michael. Where else would I be? :pac:

I must have married Chris's sister. Only I mounted her in the back seat. :D

What you do in your own car is your own business, but I'm not sure it's really suitable subject matter for a family forum.

    :pac:

The features I read are common in a lot of modern cars with the usual touch screens, I assume this is for older cars or cars without all the fancy tech.

For anyone using Android, Google Assistant would be better? Even though I have Android Auto I'll still use 'Ok Google' to navigate somewhere or open Spotify hands free while driving. A decent phone mount is all you need. Handy for replying to texts too.
