Hi I am posting this for a friend Is it possible to get a replacement bolt for a Tikka T3 .243 without having to send back rifle to factory to check head space he has tried a few bolts from other rifles and the all function without problems. We have tried most of the dealers here but no success.

I would imagine tikka would want to check the headspace regardless if it fits perfectly or not. They will cover their backside.

I remember reading about a guy in the UK who had to buy a replacement bolt, I think it was around 5 or 6 hundred sterling.
