Advice on replacing car

    Hi

    Looking at replacing my 1.6 Tdi 2011 Skoda Octavia. It has high mileage currently (290K), averaging 5.5L/100km on my daily drive to / from work (22km each way).

    Was thinking of just going with something similar, maybe in the 141 to 152 age bracket, but with all this talk of diesel cars, would it be a smart move to go with something different ? (i.e. Petrol / Hybrid )

    At the moment it's just talk if the Skoda is going grand i wud hold onto it and wait and see if diesel has a future if not then look at the alternative the tsi engines are really good if you wanted to stay with Skoda

    Hi ther in all my experience with them was doing close to my superb diesel for mpg and pulled just as well but more refined for a 1.2engine they are quite impressive
