Bath panel - Wooden battens glued to tiles

In the process of changing my bath panels and after taking the old ones off found wooden battens screwed and glued on top of the tiles on the floor and up the sides on the wall. These are right up to the edge as it was a flimsy plastic panel there before and need the room to install the new panels.

Any ideas of how to remove the battens as after unscrewing the glue isn't budging and don't fancy damaging the tiles?
