Date advice

Been texting this girl in work for a few weeks and the other day I casually asked her if she would like to meet up for coffee some day . She's agreed to meet up but since I haven't had much dating experience would appreciate some advice on how not to fcuk things up. I really like this girl , she's pretty but the big attraction is her funny quirky almost nutty personality and she just always seems to be in a good mood. Anyway she might not even think of this as a date at all but just 2 work buddies meeting up. I'm not expecting to have an opportunity to even kiss her but would love to know when to make my move if that opportunity does arise. My main goal is to get a second date , food and drinks perhaps. Advice appreciated

For starters don't treat this as a date, she may have completely different intentions. See this as an opportunity to see how you are with just each other and if it all goes well then at the end say you should get a drink together sometime. Being able to gauge when to make a move just comes with experience, for now forget about that and just concentrate on having a good time with her.

How do you not mess this up?
    Dress nice
    Smell nice
Brush your teeth, chew gum beforehand if you have to but make sure to bin it
Find a quiet coffee shop where you can find comfortable seats and easily talk
Consider arriving a few mins early to get a seat
Offer to pay but don't insist, just a casual "I'll get this" and gauge her reaction

Don't check your phone, unless its to check the time
Don't look around at other people, especially other girls
Don'y say anything racist or vulgar or politically incorrect
Don't talk badly about people from work, a little banter is ok but keep it short

You want to express a positive vibe about you. So make sure to ask questions, don't just do all the talking yourself, try to keep it balanced. Have some stories ready to tell. If you've been texting for a few weeks then conversation should be fine.

Remember this is just a coffee so don't overstay. If it goes well then when you are getting ready to leave ask her out for drinks. Your intention will be a lot clearer to her then. Say goodbye and be careful about making a move unless you are sure.

    Best of luck

Meet up. Have coffee. Ask her out on a date. Use the word date if you eant it to be clear to her.
Shes said yes to coffee so chances are shes interested in you.
    Good luck.
