I bought a Yamaha C2 (5’8) baby grand piano. I’m wondering what is the best placement in my living room to achieve optimal acoustic result. My living room is 9ft x13ft, with three interior walls and one wider side open. All carpet floor. I’ve read about it online. Some say I should have the straight side of the piano (with bass strings) parallel to a wall and have the open cover facing the open area. I think this is right ?

If anyone knows someone on the Kerry area ( Tralee ) and they can call and advice I’d be happy to pay for a consultation.
