Does anyone know of NI car dealers that will accept Irish cars as trade-ins?

A lot of them do these days as they flog them back to dealers down here, you'll get NI trade value for it though.

It depends on what the car is.

Is your car an import in the first place? As you can export it, claim back a portion of VRT paid.

It depends on what the car is.

If they have a buyer for it down here (through the trade) then it really doesn't matter what it is. They very rarely go to the trouble of re-registering them up there. I know someone who got 1k trade in value for a southern reg 12 year diesel Focus that needed a lot of work done on it. The car was sold back down south.

No idea what sort of deal you'd get for your car up there.
