Guys, long story short, offered job in July. Started mid August, not too friendly but okay, new field for me. Met boss 3 weeks ago, said I was not happy with figures ( sales Job) and we needed to discuss ways to improve.
Nothing met, this week no mention, got mail yesterday to meet yesterday at close of business, and was told things were not working and I was being sacked ! .

2 questions should I have been given notice, ( 3 month probation) only there 6 weeks and should I have been paid for last week?

Don't really want to go into anymore details as I don't want to identify company, as I have no real issue apart from being sacked.

Got no warnings, help to improve, never any issues with my work.

Is 6 weeks enough to get into new role.

With probation a company can do what they like as regards getting rid of you, but they have to pay you for what work you've done.

    1. Look at your contract to see what the notice period is during your probation. If you have no contract, because you've worked there less than 13 weeks, you are entitled to no noticed.

    2. You should be paid for what you worked.
