Is there many risk free or close to risk free investments with returns of 5% or greater per annum?

This must be a troll post, that can't be a serious question.

I think you'll see another 5% from Coke, Disney and Microsoft over the next 12mts. There all stable and will be around a long time.

    Chauffe, Marcel, chauffe!

There is a risk free investment with at least 0% return after tax (you will not lose a cent of your money). Possible return is a lot more if you are lucky. And all returns are tax free. It's called price bonds. Guaranteed by the state.

    Stocks certainly aren't risk free.

    Tesla? :pac: (poke the bear)

Risk free... National Solidarity Bond (10 year) 1.5% AER might be the closet option? Obviously not near the 5% you're after.
