Zanussi Washing Machine Not Powering Up.

    Hi all,
I have a Zanussi Jetstream 1400 washer/dryer that's about five years old. The display no longer comes on and the machine is completely dead. I took the top off and checked that 240v is getting to the board so I presume that's the problem and the machine isn't worth repairing.
Is there anything else I should look at before taking it to the recyclers?

    Thanks for any advice.

Did you happen to see a fuse when you opened it up? (Just an idea - I don't know if there would normally be one.)

Hi Thanks for the suggestion - I think not - I was looking elsewhere on a Zanussi forum and saw a Zanussi technician tell someone that if there was power to the main board then it must be blown if it isn't powering on.
