Retrofit Electric heating module for towel radiator

Has anyone experience with retrofitting an electric heating element into a towel radiator that is hooked up with the central heating system?

The towel rad in/outlets are at the bottom of the rad (in a the left, out at the right) with a standard valve on each side.

Which means in theory I could just add a electric heating element on the top of the rad.

Anyone done this before, or has a towel rad running on both central heating and electricity?

Main reason for this is so I can have warm, dry towels during the summer when the heating system isn't running.

Essentially add something like this: https://en.reuter.de/kermi-electric-set-wks-white-white-150-watt-a509245.php
