    Which one would you chooose?
    All petrol

    The Merc, because of the brand, it’s rear wheel drive, rarer than an A4 or 3 series, and they’re great value second hand

    The Prius because they’re very reliable, and easy to resell,

    The Civic because I have one and would never question my own judgement.

    This is the conundrum. 3 very different cars. Is the civic a saloon or hatchback? Is the Prius 1.5 or 1.8?

    Civic is saloon automatic.
    Prius is 1.8

    This list looks like your only requirements are 1.8lt petrol engine with automatic gearbox.

    You should tell more.

    I don’t know that I’d overly recommend the civic. It’s a grand car and they’re really well built but it’s an old enough design.

    Finding a good Prius 1.8 for the price of an 08 C Class will be difficult.

    It was launched nearly 13 years ago. In saying that the C Class was launched nearly 11 years ago.
