Bike Mechanic Dublin area

Hi everyone,

Would anyone be able to recommend a decent bike mechanic (individual or shop in the Dublin area, preferably Southside but Northside is no problem). Bike is a 4 year old Lapierre road bike, done a few thousand Ks and been in and out of a travel box a few times for cycling abroad so just looking at a standard look over and inspection with any relevant degreasing, torquing, replacements etc done. Heard Richie’s in swords is pretty good, also anyone any experience with Cycle Superstore in Tallaght?

Resurrecting this thread because I am looking for a decent road bike mechanic in south Dublin. I have tried one based in Dun Laoghaire but the result was unsatisfactory. I'd appreciate some recommendations. Thanks.

If your in Dun Laoghaire, the bike rack just off the N11 is decent, after that it's Joe Daly's or Data in Bee Cycles. Is there something specific you need done?

I have disc brake rub on the front and I have done the usual adjustments to try to fix in and no luck so I suspect that it is slightly bent (it was an internet purchase so this is quite likely).

I wouldn’t recommend my mechanic. He only works on my bikes, he’s prone to making the odd mistake and relies heavily YouTube “How to” video’s! He is cheap though! :)

Just wanted to say thank you for the recommendation - I used the bike Rack. For the modest cost of 25 euro my bike is now running perfectly.

Harry's and Cliff were my "go to" since his lad took over, but really not convenient for work anymore, unfortunately. I must look at the Bike Rack, and anyone of any experience of Belfield Bikes (here or private message)?

Belfield Bikes is my local shop, never used them for anything massively complicated but have always found them good and pretty reasonable price wise too
