Just wondering if anyone else on here has suffered from this? I picked up a flu like virus at the end of August and it has left me suffering with a viral infection in my inner ear for the last 3 weeks. I've got almost constant dizziness, brain fog and fatigue. I've been to see a physio who specialises in vestibular issues and I have an appointment with an ENT specialist at the end of the month. Progress has been slow to non-existent and it is an extremely frustrating experience. I just would like to talk to anyone else who has suffered with similar issues.

Hi, I'd like to know how you got on with this?

I have it 3-4 weeks and makes me feel really anxious. I have constant tinnitus which is wrecking my head, and feel really foggy and have a sore neck. Have been on serc for a few days but it's doing nothing.

See an ENT guy on Friday

I now have more and more issues with vestibular problems. especially disabling vertigo. the room literally revolves around me. started with a vestibular migraine.

as far as I can read, there is no real treatment? I have CFS/ME and wonder if this is another part of that.

I am being as calm and philosophical as I can; I am nearly 80 and limited with the M.e so just a matter of adapting and accepting . Have been through a few very stressful years and as happens, now i am safe and through that, am getting a big reaction.

If you're in Dublin I'd highly recommend Doug Duffy at the balance centre. He was a huge help for me https://www.thebalancecentre.ie/
