Measuring trailer and tow vehicle mass

    Hi,

    I'm interested in finding out the total mass of a car and trailer. Where would be the best place to get it measured with a printout around Dublin?

    County council recycling centres often have weighbridges. I bought an imported jeep yrs back and it was a CC Weighbridges docket I was given for tax and VRT. Farm merchants and co op stores would also be a good bet.
    I got a tractor and trailer weighed yesterday. First empty and again when full of maize on return journey. No hassle just drive up on weighbridges go into the office and you'll get a docket. Would be official in my mind as Gardai would be looking for weigh dockets from lorries at checkpoints.

    Find your nearest Glanbia and ask can you use their weighbridge
