    I'm gone back to college and am no longer working.

    I want to edit my details on Linkedin to reflect that I've ended my job in XYZ company.

    How do I do this without my whole network getting a notification that "JOHN SMITH IS NOW JOBLESS!!"

    Any help?

    Thanks

    When you're making an edit, there should be a button on the page marked something like, "Notify my network of changes to my profile" or something, that you can disable

    LinkedIn.com -> Me -> Settings & Privacy -> Privacy -> Sharing Profile Edits -> Change -> No.

    Do this before you make your change.
