College Work Experience

    I’m currently studying a Science Laboratory Techniques PLC course and as part of my Work Experience module I need 60 hours of work placement in Science related industry in Mid February.
    I’ve been looking for jobs but there doesn’t seem to be any biotechnological or microbiological companies that accept students for work experience.
    I’m really stuck at the moment and unsure what to do about.
    Does anyone know by any chance of what to do in this case?

    Dont know what part of the country you are in but Sanofi(Waterford) just advertised a heap of 3rd year placement positions. Might be something of use there.

    Ah right. I know for our placement we were'nt to organise it ourselves without getting the ok from Careers service. Have a chat with them, maybe they have contacts. Best of luck.

    Unfortunately for us we were told that it’s our business to organise it and that it’s not their problem if we can’t find anything
