As with all things ring around. Main dealers can be good value for some items and not for others. So try a few dealers and then some motor factors, then try Halfords.

Halfords offer 3, 4 or 5 year warranties and are open late/Sundays, so if the price is good I'd go for it.

Warranties are nice to have here but not necessary due to our consumer laws, they are necessary in other countries.

Last one I bought (for a MkII Escort) was in a local motor factor. Came with a guarantee (they etched the battery with the date).

Halfords have a 5yr warranty on the Yuasa Silver YBX batteries. After brexit who knows if they will still be here?
