I would like to get a decent warrenty with it. I have a friend who is an experienced mechanic who does work for me. But I’m open to both options.

Engine can be sourced from Whelans Dismantlers or similar.
Www.partfinder.ie will be able to help.
Supply & fit would be IVI engines.
